The New Craft House is a deadstock fabric shop who exclusively sells responsibly sourced, designer deadstock fabric. We source all of our fabric and haberdashery directly from designers in London, redirecting it away from landfill. Alongside our fabric shop we run a range of sewing workshops to help our customers gain skills and confidence, from beginner to more advanced sewing workshops. We also have a range of wearable sewing patterns that have been thoughtfully designed to create the perfect sustainable wardrobe.
At The New Craft House sustainability is at the heart of everything we do. By arming our customers with the knowledge and tools to sew a more sustainable handmade wardrobe, we're fighting against fast fashion culture and the environmental impact of it.
All of our fabric and haberdashery is also true designer deadstock, sourced directly from designers who have it leftover. Much of this surplus fabric and trims would have been destined for landfill or in some cases incinerated. You can shop our fabric knowing that you're helping to reduce waste in the fashion industry.
